Too many families are struggling to stay in their homes, and emergency assistance often fails to reach them when they need it. I’ll support Good Cause Eviction, strengthen rent protections, and fight for emergency assistance that works for families in crisis.
Our youth need opportunities to thrive. Too many lack access to, arts, music, tech, and mentorship opportunities that help them discover their talents. I’ll fight for Assembly funding to expand youth programs both in schools and throughout the community.
ACCESS TO RESOURCES
EXPRESSION THROUGH EDUCATION
Our residents need access to resources. Too many can’t access the help that already exists – emergency rental assistance, small business support, financial counseling. I’ll connect residents to what they need, simplify broken systems, and fight for Assembly funding to fill the gaps.
Our neighborhoods need real investment. Delayed trash pickup, crumbling infrastructure, and neglected parks shouldn’t be acceptable. I’ll fight for capital funding to fix our streets, improve sanitation, maintain our parks, and build the infrastructure our community deserves.
Meet Gregory
Gregory Blackmon knows the Bronx because he is the Bronx. Born and raised here, he’s spent years sitting across from families facing eviction, small business owners struggling with taxes, and parents searching for help. He’s tired of just helping people survive broken systems. Now he’s running for State Assembly District 84 to fix these systems and demand the investment our community deserves.
